Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to everyone!
Bonne Annee et Joyeux Noel a tous April 02 Just oneThis poem is a touching reminder of how powerful one number is! One song can spark a moment, One flwer canwake the dream. One tree can start a forest, One bird can herald spring. One smile begins a friendship, One handshake lifts a soul. One star can guide a ship at sea, One world can frame the goal. One vote can change a nation, One sunbeam lights a room. One candle wipes out darkness, One laugh will conquer gloom. One step must start each journey, One word must start each prayer. One hope will raise our spirits, One touch can show you care. One voice can speak with wisdom, One heart can know what's true. One life can make a difference, March 04 talking about risksTo laugh is to risk appearing a fool. To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. To reach out for another is to risk involvement. To expose feelings is to risk rejection. To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule.
To love is to risk not being loved in return. To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure. But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing and is nothing. He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he can not learn, fell, change, grow or love. Chained by his certitudes, he is a slave. He has forfeited his freedom. Only a person who takes risks is truly free.
October 17 Paradox of Our TimeHey,everyone, I am back. Bear with me that I am occupied with study
We have big houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; We have more degrees, but less common sense; more knowledge, but less judgment; more experts, but more medicine, less wellness. We spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get to angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too often, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduce our values. We talk too much, love too little and lie too often. We’ve added years to life, not life to years. We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider free ways, but narrow viewpoints. We spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy less. We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We’ve conquered outer space, but not inner space. We’ve split the atom, but not our prejudice; we write more, but learn less; plan more, but accomplish less.
We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but lower morals. We build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies, but have less communication. We are long on quantity, but short on quality.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men and short character; steep profits and shallow relationship. More leisure and less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition; two incomes but more divorce; fancier houses, but broken homes. September 04 I am coming!!!Hello, all of my precious blogging friends, bear with me that i have not blogged for about 2 months- I am as busy as bee for this summer holiday. I take dancing courses-haha,it is awesome. I will write a new blog soon, you are always in my heart

Bobbie June 26 MotivationIf there is ever a time to dare,
to make a difference,
to embark on something worth doing,
it is now.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily---
but for something that tugs at your heart,
something that's your aspiration,
something that's your dream.
You owe it to yourself to make your days here count.
Have fun.
Dig deep.
Stretch.
You need to know, though, that things wirth doing seldom come say.
There will be good days. And there will be bad days.
There will be times when you want to turn around,
pack it up, and call it quits.
Those times tell you that you are pushing yourself,
that you are not afraid to learn by trying.
Because with an idea,
determination, and the right tool,
you can do great things.
Let your instincts,
your intellect,
and your heart guide you.
Believe in the incredible power of the human mind.
Of doing something that makes a difference.
Of working hard.
Of laughing and hoping.
Of lazy afternoons.
Of lasting friends.
Of all the things that will cross your path this year.
The start of something new brings the hope of smoething great.
Anything is possible.
There is only one you.
And you will pass this day only once.
Do it right.

June 07 "Packaging" a PersonA person, like a commodity, needs packaging. But going to far is absolutely undesirable. A little exaggeration, however, does not harm when it shows the person's unique qualities to their advantage. To display personal charm in a casual and natural way, it is important for one to have a clear knowledge of oneself. A master packager knows how to integrate art and nature without any traces of embellishment, so that the person so packaged is nno commodity but a human being, lively and lovely.
A young person, especially a female, radiant with beauty and full of life, has all the favor granted by God. Youth, however, comes and goes in a moment of doze.
Packaging for the middle aged is primarily to conceal the furrows ploughed by time. If you still enjoy life's exuberance enough to retain self-confidence and pursue pioneering work, you are unique in your natural qualities, and your charm and grace will remain.
Elderly people are beautiful if their river of life has been, through plains, mountains and jungles, running its course as it should .You have really lived your life who now arrives at a complacent stage of serenity indifferent to fame or wealth. There is no need to resort to hair-dyeing-the snow -capped mountain is itself a beautiful scene of fairyland. Let your looks change from young to old synchronzing with the natural aging process so as to keep in harmony with nature, for harmony itself is beauty, while the other way round will only end in unpleasantness. To be in the elder's company is like reading a thick book of deluxe edition that fascinates one so much as to be relactant to part with.
As long as one finds where one stands, one knows how to package oneself, just as a commodity establishes its brand by the right packaging. May 04 River of DreamsRiver of Dreams In the middle of the night I go walking in my sleep From the mountains of faith To a river so deep I must be looking for something Something sacred I lost But the river is wide And it is too hard to cross And even though I know the river is wide I walk down every evening and I stand on the shore And try to cross to the opposite side So I can finally find out what I have been looking for
In the middle of the night I go walking into my sleep Through the valley of fear To a river so deep And I have been searching for something Taken out of my soul Something I would never lose Something someone stole I do not know why I go walking at night But now I am tired and I do not want to walk anymore I hope it does not take the rest of my life Until I find what it is that I have been looking for
In the middle of the night, I go walking into my sleep Through the jungle of doubt To a river so deep I know I am searching for something Something so undefined That it can only be seen by the eyes of the blind In the middle of the night I am not sure about what life really is after this God knows I have always been faithful Baptized by the fire, I wade into the river That runs to the Promised Land
In the middle of the night I go walking in my sleep Through the desert of truth To the river so deep We all end in the ocean We all start in the streams We’re all carried along By the river of dreams In the middle of the night
April 06 What is a Great BookGreat books are probably the most widely read. They are the best seller for a year or two. They are enduring best sellers
Great books are popular, not pedantic. They are not written by specialists about specialties for specialists. Whether they bephilosophy or science, or history or poetry, they treat of human, not academic problems. They are wrtten for men,not professors. To read a textbook for advanced students, you have to read an elementary text book forst. However, the great books can be considered elementary in the sense that they treat the elements of any subject matter. They are not related to one another as a series of textbooks, graded in difficulty or in the technicality of the problems with which they deal.
Great books are always comtemporary. In contrast, the books we call "comtemporary" are currently popular, last only a year or two, or then at the most. You probably can not recall them names of many earlier best sellers, and you probably would not be interested in reading them. But the great books are never outmoded by the movement of thought or the shifting winds of doctrine and opinion.
Great books are the most readable. They will not let you down if you try to read them well. They have more ideas per page than most books have in their entirety. That is why you can read a great book over and over again and nver exhaust its contents.
Great books are the most instructive. This follows from a fact thatthey are original communications; they contain what cannot be found in other books.Whether you ultimately agree or disagree with what they say, these are the primary teacher of man kind; they have made the basic contributions to human thought.
Great books deal with the persistently unsolved problems of human life. There are genuine mysteries in the world which mark the limits of human .Inquiry not only begins with wonder, but usually ends with it also. Great minds acknowledge mysteries honestly. Wisdom is fortified not destroyed, by understanding its limitations. March 26 After the TranslationSorry, everyone, bear with me that i have not blogged for huge long time as i am very busy these days.Thank you very much for all your precious comments on my last entry,

Hugs and kisses February 28 Translation---The furthest distance in the worldSorry for that i have not blogged for a long time as i am very busy these days, however, I am back now
Today i translate a poem, The furthest distance in the world, whose original writer is the famous Tagore. Hehe-I read the poem in chinese version, but i would like to translate it because my work is translation
The furthest distance in the world
The furthest distance in the world
is not that between living and death, it is
when I am just before you you even don't know that I love you; The furthest distance in the world
is not when I am just before you you even don't know that I love you, it is while both of us know that we love each other
we just cannot come together; The furthest distance in the world is not
while both of us know that they love each other we just cannot come together, it is clearly both you and me can not resist thinking of each other
I have to pretend caring nothing of you; The furthest distance in the world is not
clearly both you and me can not resist thinking of each other I have to pretend caring nothing of you, it is with a cold heart you dig
a vast gap of no access for the one who loves you! Thanks for your reading. Have a nice day! February 04 How to Grow HappinessSomeone says that Happiness comes of the capacity to feel deeply, to enjoy simply, to think freely, and to be needed. I have no objection to that, only wondering how to grow happiness.
Step one:
Plant yourself deep in a bed of faith, and pack it down solid and tight. Drench daily with positive thinking, and keep saturated just right. Mulch often with forgiveness, for this will help you grow. Quickly remove any seeds of worry, for they will soon germinate, and keep out the weeds of despair. Nourish disappointments with hope whenever it is needed, and always stay cool and shaded when you feel irritated or heated. Trim away guilt or depression, for they create decay, and cultivate with happy memories as often as every day. Step two:
Harvest the lessons of the past; just dig, pick, and hoe. And nurture the roots of the present, for now is when you flourish and grow. Start planting for the future; set your goals in a row. Spade the bed well for all your dreams to grow. Step three:
Remember that grief is a natural predator, so learn to tolerate some damage. Protect your garden with daily prayers, for this will help you manage. Bury the criticism and complaining, for they are injurious pests. Sow the seed of love wherever you may go--for joy, love and laughter are surely bound to grow. Although the thorns of life may be here to stay, just sprout a smile along the Way, and be thankful for what you have. The above of three steps are the tips on how to grow happiness, wish everyone can find his or her own happiness to enjoy!
January 23 on readingIt is simple enough to say that since books have classes fiction, biography, poetry—we should separate them and take from each what it is right that each should give us. Yet few people ask from books what books can give us. Most commonly we come to books with blurred and divided minds, asking of fiction that it shall be true, of poetry that it shall be false, of biography that it shall be flattering, of history that it shall enforce our own prejudices. If we could banish all such preconception when we read, that would be an admirable beginning. Do not dictate to your author; try to become him. Be his fellowworker and accomplice. If you hang back, and reserve and criticize at first, you are preventing yourself from getting the fullest possible value from what you read. But if you open your mind as widely as possible, then signs and hints of almost imperceptible finess, from the twist and turn of the first sentences, will bring you into the presence of a human being unlike any other. Steep yourself in this, acquaint yourself with this, and soon you will find that your author is giving you, or attempting to give you, something far more definite.
January 10 Motivation for CareerFirst of all, let me say happy new year to you !Thanks for your encouragement and I am sure I can do better in 2007!
Every day we can see lots of people bring their suitcases, rushing to work. It seems that everyone is fond of his or her own jobs, showing consideration and care on jobs. However, if we go further and look into the real feeling on those people, the situation will be totally different from what we have expected.
We hear different voices on complaining jobs, such as poor salary, boring work and stuff, unfriendly boss, etc etc. All those comments on jobs focus on the outside, so why not checking ourselves,do I really like our jobs or do I work for survival or the motivation is from innerside?
It is obvious that jobs save us from hunger. However, if we just consider it as a tool of getting rid of starvation or something like that, we can not find any pleasure through work even we are always motivated by higher position or salary. What is the real motivation for career? It should come from your inner desire and turns out to be a positive attitude to your work. We should ask ourself at first:" Do we really like our current jobs? " Motivation should be originated from one's own interest. Only under this condition can we contribute our full capability and energy to our work. I had been dreamt of becoming an interpreter since I was 10

December 10 How old is"old"?Time flies so quick--Christmass is coming, which means a new year is approaching and everyone gets one year older. Therefore, I can hear some complainments about the aging problems and depressed about it.
How old is"old"? Everyone wants to maintain youth but senescence can not be rejected because it is just the nature. According to a survey, one person who is about 30 can be called old in prehistory time for the reason of lacking of medical care; During 1950s, life expectancy had been reached to 65 in Western Europe and USA. Nowadays, life expectancy in some countries has reached to 83(such as Japan). With the development of science and technology, human beings can live longer and quality life.It is really hard to give definition on how old is"old".
From my point of view, old is not a matter of age, it is a state of mind. We can find lots of graceful ladies and gentlemen who are no longer young, their social expierence and graceful behaviour really impress us a lot; We can not find the traces of being old among them.
Everyone, pls do not be scared of being "old".Merry christmass to all of you November 17 For the GameLife is full of difficulties--It is certain.
Possession for its own sake or in competition with the rest of the neighbor hood would have been Thoreau’s idea of the low levels. The active discipline of heightening one’s perception of what is enduring in nature would have been his idea of the high. What he saved from the low was time and effort he could spend on the high. Thoreau certainly disapproved of starvation, but he would put into feeding himself only as much effort as would keep him functioning for more important efforts. Effort is the gift of it. There is no happiness except as we take on life- engaging difficulties. Short of the impossible, as Yeast put it, the satisfaction n we get from a lifetime depends on how high we choose our difficulties. Robert Frost was thinking in something like the same terms when he spoke of “The pleasure of taking pains”. The mortal flaw in the advertised version of happiness is in the fact that it purports to be effortless. we demand difficulty even in our games. We demand it because without difficulty there can be no game. A game is a way of making something hard for the fun of it. The rules of the game are an arbitrary imposition of difficulty. When someone ruins the fun, he always does so by refusing to play by the roles. It is easier to win at chess if you are free, at your pleasure, to change the wholly are betray roles, but the fun is in winning within the rules. No difficulty, no fun. November 11 Time flies so quick!I came to a friend's space and found a very meaningful post. I n her post, she wrote:" There are only 2 months left for 2006." Suddenly, I remembered time was so short~~
Honestly speaking, time is still time itself--that is 24 hours for each person, no more or no less. However, the pace of life is becoming quicker and quicker.I always remind some old golden days: The day when i was about 5 or 6 years old.Time was always long and enjoyable. Though I was born in a strict family and began to study at early age, I still had a lot of fun--play with my tolls and grassland.
Now I am not the little girl anymore.
That is the function of time---With the time passing by, i can say proudly that I make good use of time for my work, for my family and for my friends. I wish everyone has an wonderful 2006 and wish all ur dreams can come true, work hard and everything will go on well! November 05 Warning:the abnormal weather!I am back again, tiring of writing something too sentimental.Everything has finished ,including some childish emotion which i was too considerate before .And i promise i will write more argumentation articles.
The weather is not normal as what it used to be,especially in these years.
For most countries in the world, it is obvious to see that summer seems longer and the temperature is higher and higher. Take China as an example, In 2002, the hot weather began in May and lasted for about 5months(from May to September) with an average temperature of 39.8C in summer, everything was overfull of heat~~ In 2006(this year), hot weather began in April which lasted for about 6 months
What is the reason for it?We do not know it clearly. For the hot weather, probably it is green house effect. Too much gas and heat ,human being is responsible for it.Since we have already know the theory called "Butterfly Effection". Even a tiny things can be very troublesome
October 28 love letterTo dedicate to the person --and also for my beloved friends Une amie c'est ...
